Ushaw Moor are another club waiting for the phone to ring – West Indian quickie Chris Barnwell is expected any day. If he does get here in time almost half the side travelling to Langley Park will be different from last week, as Peter Maddison, John Southeran, Stephen Maddox and Ian Ross all play.

Buoyant Park are aiming to protect their 100% record and have Michael White and Simon Moralee returning in place of the unavailable Keith Smith and Jack Brennan.

Chester Plough Inn FC | Ushaw Moor CC match report

Match report:Chester Plough Inn returned to league action against Ushaw Moor CC, hoping to put behind their poor performance and result against Pittington on Thursday night.Manager Lee Johnson was forced to make 3 changes from the side who lost to Pittington, with Chris Howey, Graham Martin and Jamie Seymour coming into the side. The latter Seymour was luckily doing a set of suicide sprints on the neighbouring pitch or we would have been forced to start the game with 10 men as the returning John Adamson was deemed not fit enough to take his place in the starting 11.
